I pray for joy and peace in each of your lives this Christmas; for those two things are yours to keep forever and can never be taken from you, no matter the heart ache, the circumstance, or the disappointment.
Choose joy and peace and let the bitterness and anger fall away. That’s where true strength comes from, not from hatred and revenge, but from choosing to love and forgive, even when there are painful things in your life.
Believe me, I know. I’m in the midst of it now, but I’m choosing joy and peace for myself; no one else can make that choice for me.
