Another one of the Shakespeare authorship mysteries is resolved with North as the author of the source play. North’s 1555 travel journal explains how he met all these people and heard about this obscure story of the duke’s murder so that he could add “the play within the play” of Hamlet.
Taylor Sheridan just ripped my heart out 💔. 1883, the first prequel to Yellowstone, is so good. Some people are just genius storytellers, and Sheridan is definitely one of them.
When I first created For I Am Yours for @carollinnpow, she was 4. I just made up a story so she’d go to sleep 😂 But for some reason, it stuck with both of us, and I had to write it down. Years later when I asked the talented @lorrainewatry_watercolor to illustrate it, this bizarre acknowledgment hit me. This wasn’t just a bedtime story; it was some kind of universal truth about the love we have for our children. I didn’t intend it that way. I just thought it was about a beloved blankie. But the older my children got and the less they needed me, the story I wrote for Carol Linn became a guide for me, the mother who was no longer Carol Linn’s or @nicgski ‘a or @ian_hawkins34_56 ’s constant companion. Instead, I wait lovingly and patiently for when they need me, and then I am there to help them in any way I can. And lately, it’s been watching this new, beautiful child I get to love and cuddle and tell stories to about how much her blankie (or Baba) loves her. #blankielove #parenting #children #grandchildren #storytellers #illustratedstories #ForIAmYours @wordcraftspublisher

Does anyone know? Is this a representation of dia de los Muertos? Saw it at margaritas tonight and couldn’t take my eyes off of it.
